It's the holiday season (that is, if you're getting ready for burning man...!) and I've been sewing to get ready. :)

My stuff often sells around town for twice the price (Melrose, Malibu, Silver Lake), but I often offer wholesale to folks who buy directly from me!

Here's the page of current styles - great for burning man, inspired apres' ski or outdoor parties... check back when you can since I update with new styles on a regular basis... and, I do accept paypal and ship anywhere... :)

Thanks! Here's tha link:

  • Hey you!

    Fabulous work!

Some random things to think about:

    a. A website with codes that differentiate your styles and a shopping cart is a great thing.

    b. It's possible to have a multi- tier sales approach (where you sell hats to the end consumer and to specialty retail stores and to the larger buyers) but it should be done delicately. While you now have the type of retail client who has enough cache in offering your product at twice your price (which means that they consider your price the wholesale (or 'keystone), if you increase your retail base- you will find that they often get testy with competing with designers for sales. I don't know how you have structured sales in your business plan, but if you would like to have a conversation about mechanisms that can allow you to increase your revenue at all levels (i.e. ways you can sell all your fab goodies to everyone to make more money), then we can start a dialog here.

    Cheers!

    Ali

Hey thanks everybody! Great advice too - so nice of you!!!

Yeah - I dig playing with the hats & so forth, whenever my video work is done (maybe I should switch those?) My 2 big seasons are Xmas & BM, tho I think (apres') ski season might work too - they buy in Jan / feb for the next season...

I will try to schedule serious time & resources to apply your thoughtful advice. :)

Pix here soon, as soon as I catch up on a few things...

      :)
