As most of you know, I started a comic book company in February 2005, and had 14 people come to my site. Now I have a regular traffic flow of 40,000+, which grows every month. Two weeks ago, I had to change hosting companies and purchase 25 times the bandwidth I had before.
I get letters asking what I did to get to this point, and I'm burning out from replying. I get letters from comic book people, real estate people, homemakers and shop keepers, asking how to improve the flow of people to their sites and make more money.
I am going to make an eBook, to sell from my site (most likely for $24-29), and wanted to give those of you here and a few other tribes the heads up on it. It will detail what I did, in what order, the exact sources/programs/tools I use, etc. Basically I want to create a detailed step-by-step map as to how I got to this point.
Though it is referring to comics, this can be applied to MOST online businesses, simply because it involves correct principles across the board.
I would like to know, by a show of posts, who would be interested in that resource?

Re: Who would be interested?
Tue, September 20, 2005 - 11:38 AMI think I'd probably be interested, but my question would be, "hoe relevant is it to my product, vs. yours?"
I'm super happy you are doing well w/ your work :) !

Re: Who would be interested?
Tue, September 20, 2005 - 12:56 PMVery good question, Jewel.
As I stated, there are "correct principles" involved in what I want to share, which means cross application.
A good example is why am I in THIS tribe? I do comic books, not merchandise or hollywood stuff. Yet (at least in my own opinion, Michelle may say otherwise =)), I feel I have been able to contribute information to help this tribe out in your individual progression. How to promote. Where do you find good online tools for as little money as possible, but still look professional? How do I get the word out? How do you attract people??
The points of view are going to be essential, and it looks like I might place a section of the book out for all to read on the site. However, I will be focusing specifically on comic books.
I have also been told by other tribes that they would buy it if I had a lower pricetag...which may make lookin at the book far more appealing to people like yourself, in other areas of business.
I'll consider all the information I receive, before making a decission. -
